Empowerment through Embodiment

On December 16, we participated in a two-part workshop with members of the Leadership League of Women designed to help empower women in high school and college through collaboration and embodiment. Before performing pieces we'd created that reflected issues facing women in contemporary society, we held a Boal-based workshop that asked members of both groups to create images of empowerment together and then dialogue about how to put these concepts into practice in our daily lives.
